About Glamsticks

GlamSticks offer a range of personalised products. Whether you are looking for canes, walking sticks, crutches, visual aids or wheelchair covers, every item can be tailored to your needs and requirements. Choose your colour, handle, height and personalised touches to your walking stick, cane or crutch in our checkout and let us take the dull out of disability for you.

Founded by Sharon Farley-Mason who suffered a life-changing horse-riding accident in 1999. This led to ligament damage in her right knee. Initially advised to let it heal naturally, her mobility deteriorated over the years, eventually requiring surgery in 2009. However, her condition worsened, affecting both her family life and career, leading to medical retirement.

Despite increasing health issues, Sharon’s resilience shone through. She pursued holistic therapy studies and turned to crafting for therapeutic relief. A breakthrough came when she customised a mobile phone cover with gems, sparking demand for more designs. This creative passion led her to acquire Glamsticks, a business specialising in custom-designed mobility aids, which quickly gained recognition and a loyal customer base.

As Glamsticks flourished, Sharon sponsored models, Paralympians, and individuals in need, including custom crutches, wheelchair covers, and even a bespoke running blade. Her work has been widely celebrated, earning awards and celebrity clients, with many exciting projects ahead.
