Georgina and the team would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

I’m Georgina, I am the founder of Purpl Discounts and I live with MS. Before I became disabled I had no idea of the financial impact it would have on my life but now I do, I want to help make a difference.

Purpl is the UK’s first disabled discount site, we source exclusive discounts from hundreds of brands for our members. But we are so much more, Purpl is a company built by disabled people for disabled people and it has a social cause at its heart.

We want to make life better for disabled people and one way is through sharing information, we want to be the trusted space for guides on disability and finances, we want to help disabled people save money.

We have launched our first charity partnership with Spinal Injuries Association and this is a meaningful way for us to give back to the disabled community. From November 2024 to March 2025, we will donate 20% of funds raised through our promotional brand activity to SIA. We will have a number of charity partnerships throughout the year so we can help as many people as possible.

The long-term plan is to launch the Purpl Foundation, which will enable us to offer grants to disabled people who need extra financial support to pay for equipment or services that will make a difference to their day to day life.

And of course, there are the incredible and exclusive discounts we have with hundreds of brands, from household names to smaller disability focused businesses. We are saving you, our members, money with every offer you use. Since launching in July, 2024, we have saved the disabled community over £20,000 and we are incredibly proud of that.

We know we cannot change the whole world and get rid of all of the financial impacts of disability in the UK, but we aim to offset some of those extra costs and help toward the disabled community saving as much money as we can!

It’s been an amazing, busy and fast-paced year, we are a tiny team and we all work so hard to make a difference to the disabled community because we’re all passionate disability advocates who are disabled people, or have lived disability experience.

So, thank you to every person who has visited the website this year, used a code, shopped an offer, read a blog, shared a post, read our newsletters, talked about us to others or messaged or emailed us. We are truly honoured to be part of your lives and we can’t wait for 2025 when we plan to get bigger and better discounts than ever for our Purpl Members!
