We partnered with Purple Sock Day this year to celebrate The International Day of Disabled People. Our simple aim is to engage the nation with one, effortless, single act of united solidarity – to buy & wear a pair of BAM’s purple socks! Purpl’s goals are to offset the extra costs of living with a disability, create a community of disabled people and raise positive awareness of disability inclusion, so Purple Sock Day is the perfect partner for us. We are over the moon to be empowering the disabled community one step at a time!

The International Day of Disabled People (IDPD) takes place annually on 03 December. The day was created by the UN in 1992; with the aims to promote the rights & well-being of disabled people across society & raise awareness of disability in every aspect of political, social, economic & cultural life.
